Note by Joy’s husband…
MMM! This one was very good. The shitake mushrooms taste like portabella mushrooms that I used to have back in the states. The black pepper was a nice touch because usually here in Thailand we don’t have black pepper to spice up our meal – it’s always the red or green chilis or the dried red pepper.
I will ask her to make this one again sometime soon – it was excellent with rice. Thai food is best!
